Last updated 2026-10-15.
What we store
- Newsletter emails, if you subscribe, with the page you signed up from.
- Feedback messages you send, and your email only if you choose to include it.
- Anonymous page counts: which page was viewed and on which day, plus a campaign tag if the link had one (like ?ref=). No IP addresses, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics.
- Anonymous button counts on the quiz generator (for example "a math grade 4 prompt was built for ChatGPT"). The text of your prompt is not stored.
What we don't collect
We don't collect student data. The quiz generator runs in your browser and does not send your prompt to us or to any AI company. Please don't enter student names or personal information anywhere on this site, or into AI tools you paste prompts into.
Third-party AI tools
When you open ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot or another tool, that company's own privacy policy applies to what you type there.
How we use your email
Only to send The GradeShelf Weekly, starting with one welcome email when you sign up. We don't sell or share it. Every email will include an unsubscribe link. To be removed, click the unsubscribe link in any email or use the feedback form.
Where data lives
On our hosting provider (Railway) in a private database. We keep it until you ask us to delete it.
